Super disappointed in the bathroom/bedroom.kind...
Liked: The exterior pool area was delightful. The black flower theme was cool. The living room was nice & large. Staff is nice. However they promised coffee at 7 am and it was 8 or later when ready.
Disliked: The bathroom was woefully inadequate with a tiny sink + shower. Awkward + challenging space. Really weird since the unit was so large. Linens were fine. Bedroom was tight with no dresser and a thin mattress. Large kitchen oddly has no dishes or mugs. At nearly $500 a night with tax and fees this did not meet our expectations for a nicely restored motel.

Unique, great location
Liked: Central location, really cute place and unique, heated pool and pool area in general was cool, as was the Rose bar. Staff was helpful and friendly, and allowed us to stay on premises while waiting for our delayed flight to leave after checkout.
Disliked: The bed was slightly uncomfortable.

A great place to stay...
Liked: My husband and I loved our stay at the Fleur Noire Hotel. From the time we entered until leaving the staff were amazing. Bree, who worked eveings stands out. A couple of minor issues arose and she immediately and competently took care of them. The physical structure of the hotel was very welcoming and pleasant. There were flowers everywhere, on the external walls, in the rooms and on the shower curtains. The rooms were spacious, clean, beds were comfortable and there was a small refrigerator in the room. The ambiance was welcoming, quiet and calming. In the morning guests sat in the courtyard drinking coffee and reading. The morning coffee was excellent. There were a variety of light breakfast offerings, such a yogurt, oatmeal, croissants, orange juice and fresh fruit. Throughout the day guests were invited to go into the pantry for snacks, such as potato chips, fruit and sparkling water. We thoroughly loved our stay at the Fleur Noire hotel and will definitely stay there again when we return to Palm Springs. I also feel very comfortable recommending the Fleur Noire to friends who travel to Palm Springs.
Disliked: There was nothing that I did not like.

Lovely, Cute, Conveniently Located
Liked: The grounds are lovely - the pool and common areas are very charming and conducive to socializing. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The rooms were quite comfortable as well!
Disliked: Had a bit of sticker shock at the final price tag - this is a truly pleasant and charming boutique hotel, but for $500+ per night you would expect more amenities (e.g. a full restaurant and bar, etc.).

Exceptional
Liked: The ambiance is charming! The rooms have fabulous wallpaper behind the beds and a few well chosen mid-century furniture pieces that give the Palm Springs vibe, mini fridge, coffee maker but the real star are the stunning floral paintings on the buildings! There are wonderful continental breakfast offerings and snacks in the afternoon, a complementary glass of rose, fire pits and private porches, a pool and pink umbrellas. Walk out the back locked gate and there are several dining options nearby. We absolutely loved staying here!!

Fantastic Hotel in Palm Springs...
Liked: This hotel is amazing! Each room is in its own cottage, and each cottage is decorated with beautiful murals depicting flowers. Most of the rooms face out on the pool/garden area (with a fire pit) though ours was around the back facing onto a separate courtyard with another fire pit and a giant chess set. Everything about this hotel feels Instagram-ready and perfect for a girl’s weekend/bachelorette party – from the midcentury modern furniture, floral wallpaper, pink everything (bathroom floor/coffee machine/glassware/rental bike/pool umbrellas), to the “Rose All Day” bar located along the side of the main check-in building. When we checked in, we were each given a free glass of Rose, which was awesome! I also liked that there are no keys. To get into your room you simply enter a code into the keypad (there is also a separate keypad/code to get in from the parking lot into the gated hotel area). My other favorite thing about this hotel (besides its fun vibe and convenient location) was the free-access pantry where you could grab breakfast/coffee in the morning and snacks such as chips, granola bars, and seltzer water all day long – all for no cost. This hotel is a bit pricey but worth it, and I was sad to leave.
Disliked: Nothing really - just note that you will likely need to drive or take an Uber to the downtown area, as it is about a 25+ minute walk.

Feel really lucky to have...
Liked: The vintage vibe furnishings and bungalow layout were so fun. Situated behind a wall the property is like entering a secret garden. Unpretentious, relaxing wonderful for our group of 7.
Disliked: Only complaint was one of the roof mounted speakers in the courtyard... must have a loose wire because static was really distracting. Small potatoes and could be easily fixed.
