Disliked: The bathroom had a bad smell. It was clean however.

Liked: Lovely location in nature next to the Rhine. Good breakfast
Disliked: When we arrived in our room, the sink drain in the bathroom was blocked, the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work, the window didn't lock and there were no batteries in the TV remote. These things were only fixed after being here for 2 days.The coffee machine in the room was dirty, caked with coffee grounds and old coffee stains. The room was not clean with dust everywhere and there was dirt, hair and dust on the floor like the room hadn't been vacuumed for ages.Apart from breakfast, we ate at the hotel only once. My daughter ordered tomato soup which was absolutely horrible- tasted like lemon juice - very very sour. I asked the waitress to let the chef know. We were still charged for the soup even although it was inedible.

Disliked: This was the WORST experience we've ever had with a hotel. My wife and I had booked the most expensive room to celebrate our wedding anniversary—something we were really looking forward to all week. When we arrived, we were bluntly told by the receptionist, "we overbooked the room, so you are getting downgraded." Excuse me?! No prior call, no warning—just an immediate downgrade and a pathetic offer of compensation: coupons for BITTERBALLEN. Seriously?! For missing out on a luxury, expensive room? We refused, of course.They eventually offered a full refund and travel expenses compensation, but it took 10 days to get our money back, and the promised travel expenses never showed up. The entire experience ruined our special occasion, and honestly, even giving this place a 1-star rating feels too generous. Fletcher Hotels, you should be ashamed of how you treat paying customers. We will NEVER stay at one of your hotels again and strongly urge everyone to stay far away. Absolutely disgraceful!

Liked: The staff were really helpful and kind. They also helped me with things outside their job scope. The room was nice and had a good bed with nice bedding. Housekeeping was done everyday.
Disliked: They did not have a mini fridge in the rooms. And the balcony had some cigarette butts which were not cleared by the clener the whole weeek.

Exceptional

Lovely location, modern hotel, clean...

Liked: Pretty much everything. Modern, clean and comfortable. Wonderful location, fabulous breakfast and very accommodating, friendly staff.
Disliked: A minor observation that I’m almost too embarrassed to mention: I’d prefer a thicker/heavier duvet, but next time I’ll just ask for another, to double up.
