Disappointing

Liked: When visiting the hotel, we liked the location, the facilities, the swimming pool, and that it’s child-friendly.
Disliked: During our stay, we didn’t like that the hotel was understaffed. The hotel restaurant for breakfast was poorly organized. There was almost no food available because the staff couldn’t keep up with cleaning and restocking. At dinner, we also faced long delays before being served and receiving our food. They need to improve this or better prepare for the next holiday season.

Liked: The restaurant staff were amazing considering they had to deal with insufficient staffing every day we were there for both the breakfast and dinner shifts. The bar actually had to close because they needed to take that staff to help in the dining room. We had the same experience with Fletchers last Christmas. The reception personnel, especially at check out time on Dec 31 - lady with the short reddish hair - was very helpful and polite, unlike the previous year when Fletchers had part-time/cover personnel on duty.
Disliked: Once again, Fletchers was understaffed at a very busy time of the year.Chef resigning and putting breakfast service into utter chaos. One can only think that the chef resigned from the chaos the evening before due to the insufficient staff on duty. It was a disaster and the wait staff was amazing. Breakfast itself was extremely disappointing. Same items and limited selection. They ran out of plates, food items, juice, and clean tables for guests due to the fact that there was only two people working with a full hotel and they couldn't open up the other dining areas. Unacceptable. Fletchers can not claim that this was an unusual case as it was the same in Dec 2023.

Liked: Nice location, close to high way. Enough parking. Swimmingpool good. Did not try food & beverages. Overall price-quality very good.
Disliked: Rooms are ok, but not state of the art. Price is accordingly.

Not the usual 4 star...

Liked: For a 4 star hotel I was shocked to see no mini fridge in the room and only cardboard cups for tea and coffee and not even a proper teaspoon. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked, no plug for the bathroom sink. Bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and this was also good.
Disliked: Cardboard cups and no teaspoons.
