It's a nice accomodation for...

Liked: I was happy with the included breakfast, very simple, but it's still a great option, when you don't have time to buy something for yourself.
Disliked: It's very difficult to get to this accomodation, if you don't have your own car. Also complicated to reach the main harbour without a car.

Nice hostel, great staff

Liked: Chilled out place, nice room. Good location not far from the beach. Manager was great & reception staff.
Disliked: Nothing really. Only stayed 1 night.

Liked: The chilled out atmosphere and very kind and polite staff the games they have to play and do is awesome

Disappointing

Liked: Room #2 very dark poor lighting. I fall near by the door at night sleepery floor beds not mounted properly making noise when twist & turnsI complained at t he front of the house team to putA hazard sign up.breakfast was a joke if u can't do anything right don't do it ,example no mote waffle mix asked we only do 1 mix per day a small bowl could not feed 20 guests shame not recommending

Liked: Affordable for a few sleep hours.
Disliked: The rooms are tiny and there were 8 of us cramped together.

Good hostel, you get what...

Liked: The kitchen was well equipped and hygienic, plenty of hobs for the number of guests staying there. Staff were friendly and very well priced hostel.
Disliked: We booked our stay 5 months in advance however were split up into different rooms due to a system change, the staff were able to compensate our shuttle pick up as a result of this disturbance, but was still disappointing.

Okay for a budget hostel,...

Liked: The staff were super friendly, they had to deal with a difficult guest before me but were very professional and friendly. It is a good location for pick up for K’gari tours. The shuttle bus was easy to arrange. Bathroom in the dorm was nice.
Disliked: The beds were very squeaky and the dorms were quite old (no individual lights, or plugs). The walls were super thin, so you could hear everything going on outside the dorm. Reception area (including the kitchen) is closed too much - 7am is too late for people leaving for tours or buses in the morning. I know this place is more budget but I’ve stayed in nicer places for a similar price. Also having to pay for the shuttle bus per person is ridiculous, you should be able to split the fare like any other ride service
