Modern rooms in a charming...

Liked: Charming, lovely gardens. Lovely, very helpful staff. Excellent, spacious room.
Disliked: The breakfast: The hotel was full as there was a wedding on, and the guests flattened most of the continental breakfast by the time we got there (30mins before it ended). It wasn’t replenished. There was gluten-free bread on day 1 (yay, thank you!), but not on Days 2 or 3. Only 1 egg left on Day 1, none on days 2 or 3. But the fruit (what was left of it) was very nice. We had the room with huge disability-friendly shower. Unfortunately the accessibility part meant the entire bathroom floor flooded whenever we used the shower - made the floor slippery and dangerous.

Enjoyable stay in a Historic...

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, quality & very fresh ingredients. Beautiful homestead and grounds. Old world charm. Room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: The mattress could do with updating in the suite we stayed in.

OK but disappointed, its too...

Liked: Breakfast was nice, the history of the building and surrounds was very interesting
Disliked: We didn't meet any staff. No one greets you to welcome you. No staff were present at breakfast. The room was musty and had a doggy smell

Liked: We were not informed that a wedding party had booked most of the rooms and therefore dominated the facilities. In addition this group were so loud, which didn't make our stay peaceful. Had we been informed we would have changed our plans to stay another time.
