Liked: Decorated so beautifully for the season, so many nice touches around the house.
Disliked: Bed and floors were so squeaky we felt as though we couldn’t move around a lot. Wished we had a fridge in our room.

Great Victorian B and B

Liked: The home is classic Victorian. Helen the proprietor is an Irish-Canadian with the "gift of gab". She will regale you at breakfast with her stories, which are very entertaining. The breakfast is excellent, and cooked to order.
Disliked: We were on the third floor, and the July weather was very hot - 85 degrees F. We could feel the heat rising as we climbed the stairs, and it felt like a furnace when we got to our room. Fortunately, we had a portable room AC, but it could not really keep up with the heat, making it tough to sleep. Of course it's not the innkeeper's fault that it was hot, but with climate change I suggest that you book a lower floor room if visiting in the summer months.

Liked: This historic house is full of charm and character. very well located and maintained.Many great encounters around the breakfast table.The owners were great to chat with, they were very welcoming.
