Great hotel, great staff, great...

Liked: Location, great size rooms, good bathrooms, ironing facilities also a good size safe.
Disliked: Only down side was the super soft mattress - as I have had spinal surgery soft spongey mattresses cause back pain

Liked: Location right next to Grand Central is great, direct access to Train and Subway perfect to discover different parts of the City. Also 5th Ave and Broadway in walking distance. The hotel is not as noisy as many other Manhattan hotels. We didn't hear any trucks etc

Great Location but Nothing Special

Liked: Steps away from Grand Central Station, Subways, LIRR, and the Met Life Building. Surprisingly quiet at night. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly.
Disliked: Furnishings, room, and carpet were clean but look pretty tired. My bed was also hard and the pillows super lumpy. Could have used a nicer coffee maker or just a tray for what was there, and a cooler/fridge. There was no thermostat, there was an incredibly loud A/C window unit for when the room got warm.

Liked: Location. Irish! Staff was wonderful! Pub was great… fries and bangers were delish….shower had good pressure
Disliked: Needs some love. It’s like walking into a classic Irish hotel from the 1920’s built in the 1980’s and not update since the 1990’s…..
