Very poor
Disliked: I'm a frequent traveller and had an unusually bad experience at this hotel. (Lucky for me I only spent 1 night there.) The duvet had a large blood stain (!), the shower head fell apart in my hand, the sofa was covered in stains, the floor was covered in long black hairs, and the housekeeper walked into the room early in the morning when I was in the bathroom despite the Do Not Disturb sign. It's fine for a hotel not to be perfect, but I filed a complaint immediately and no one (!) got back to me. No one - hard to believe... They charged me $500 for this horrible room, and I am very unhappy.

Very nice place. Highly recommended,...
Liked: Loved a lot about the fitler club. Location next to the train station was easy for UK travellers and it’s easy to access the city from too. Clean and modern. A very unique place. It is more of a wellness club than hotel with only 14 rooms. We stayed for the football / soccer game and I forgot my t shirt at home for the following days travel - I was very kindly given a fitler club t shirt from Breanna for our trip back to NYC. Thats true customer service (on the day of the stay). Felt safe and a nice place to stay overall.
Disliked: Be careful of the holds they put on your card / cards. It was due to be $250 hold but we had over $1500 held at one point for no reason at all. This was frustrating and I couldn’t get a reply via messenger / booking.com for a while regarding this but Breanna was very helpful in trying to resolve it once she found out. Thank you again to Bre.

Terrible Experience
Disliked: First, this property cancelled our reservation without any communication. Then upon our arrival, they had to rebook us and delayed our check-in significantly. On the back-end the property double charged us for our reservation. While the property itself was nice, the lack of communication and overall incompetence of the staff managing the booking portion made this a terrible experience. The property itself is nice, but the clear lack of experience and support for this portion of their business model is evident.

AMAZING
Liked: Forget the Four Seasons this is the premier hotel. Our stay started with an excellent welcome at the front desk but more was to come. The room was amazing and immaculately clean. The service all around is second to none here the staff is beyond amazing. Oh yeah and breakfast was a home run along with our wonderful server. The amenities here are top notch as well you will not find a close 2nd place elsewhere. We will definitely be back.
Disliked: That I had to leave

We will definately come back...
Liked: Incredible facilities, very friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are massive!! Very cool design throughout. But of course the gem is the giant gym with fascinating views over the river - a dream place to exercise!

The experience begins when you...
Liked: The experience begins when you hit the entrance! The entrance to the club is very unassuming and gives it a speak easy feel. You enter through the ground floor door and are greeted by friendly front desk staff. The gym is located on this level and is incredible. It is fully equipped with free weights, cardio equipment, lap pool and hot/cold plunges. The locker rooms are spotless and well stocked with amenities. The hotel is located a quick trip up the elevator to the 2nd floor. The concierge desk is located just off the elevator and staffed with the most accommodating personnel I have ever encountered in all of my travels. Israel checked us in on our first night and gave us a quick tour of the property as well as escorted us to our room. He was extremely gracious and knowledgeable and set the tone for our entire stay. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there are only 14 guest rooms at the property. This made for a very quiet and peaceful stay. There is not one thing about this hotel that makes you feel like you are staying at a chain hotel and that is what I loved most about it.Our room was huge by city standards and was clean, modern, and well stocked with amenities. The massive window let in beautiful natural light during the day and great views of the nearby building lights at night. The bathroom was beautiful but I would add a word of caution here. The bedroom has a direct line of view into the shower area of the bathroom. This is probably a great feature for couples but it took some getting used to as I was traveling with my adult daughter. We were able to work out a shower schedule for privacy and we were good to go. There was some construction going on in an adjacent property that was a bit noisy in the mornings but this is expected when you stay in a city and is no fault of the hotel. The dining and lounge are beautiful and have an old school feel to them, and the lounge terrace offers great views of the city skyline at night.
Disliked: Nothing
