It exceeded our expectations.

Liked: The location, exceptional staff and the leisure facilities.
Disliked: We loved everything.

We would definitely stay there...

Liked: Beautiful setting on the River Slaney. Very welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our stay. Great choice of usual fare at breakfast, no bother to request poached eggs rather than fried. Lunch in the bar was also very enjoyable

Ferrycarrig Hotel beautifully blends old-world...

Liked: The highlight? Without a doubt, the seafood chowder — hands down the best on the Emerald Isle. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care, it’s worth the visit on its own.

Liked: Nice pool, sauna and beautiful view. Room is clean, spacious and quite. Bar is good, we have great dinner there. Staff is lovely and helpful.
Disliked: It's not adult only hotel, so there were some children that knocked on the door and run around 11 pm. But its for parents to watch

Liked: Positive - beautiful location on the bay, peaceful, the rooms are well equipped with comfy beds. Nice pool and spa facilities. Negative - There was no hot water after 10 p.m., and the gym closed the day we arrived for renovation. The gym was the reason we chose this hotel. It would have been nice to know that when we were booking, there would be no gym access.
