A hidden gem, great place...

Liked: Great location with a view over Rochdale and the surrounding hills. Beautiful decor inside these converted stables, really quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed, plenty of tea/coffee and a fantastic shower to wake you up in the morning. Breakfast was served in the main building, plenty of choice for a continental style breakfast with great views of the hills. Seeing and hearing the horses in the stables and watching rabbits made the visit more special.
Disliked: I thought the property was lovely, just a couple of suggestions to make. Bathroom would benefit from having a shelf to put toiletries on instead of the floor, and make sure the heating is on in the breakfast room, it’s a bit nippy up on those hills!

Liked: A really lovely place – excellent location near the moors, which is great for walking or running. Friendly staff and excellent service. The room was spacious, clean, and warm!

Liked: Peaceful, quiet location, great views, comfy room with everything you would need for a two night stay. Breakfast room well stocked, enough to set you up for your day ahead.

Exceptional

Liked: It's sits just by Norden which suits me well as I have family close. The setting and tranquility make you want to stay even without the glitz and gloss. It's a lovely place and the little touches make a difference. The brekfast room chairs are heavy and well built, the tea pots in the room are pretty and not cheap - sounds odd but I like the fact you are treated like you are a family guest. Not given the cheap stuff incase you break it
Disliked: I didnt like my mattress it was worn and springy but was offered another.Rob helped out even though it was xmas day. So, I feel bad even bringing it up.I think the mattresses lack compared to other places.maybe due a charge or due a change or just offer a thick mattress covers as many of them now make a huge difference. I need to add that: as soon as i mentioned my discomfort (via a message on xmas day) Rob replied within and hour and offered to help.

Beautiful room and views.

Liked: Beautiful room in a beautiful location. Stunning views and not too far from local amenities. Coupled with a horse stables next door to our room, which was a lovely surprise. Would recommend staying here to anyone

Disliked: I thought for the price, continental breakfast would have been included
