Liked: The staff was nice and did everything for us to make our stay a good experience.
Disliked: It was a bit dirty and old in the room, also carpet was very wet for some reason. We had a big road trip around the US and we found this hotel way too expensive compare to others in Vegas or even Los Angeles and San Francisco, those were right in the center, much better conditions and much cheaper.

Nice older hotel w/ helpful...

Liked: Staff was super professional, helpful & nice. A/C works well. The front desk found me a way to dry my hair. (see below) The bed was very comfortable & the TV just fine.
Disliked: Rooms should be updated - Wooden furniture had many worn spots; shower was worn. Kitchen cabinets interior was peeling up & rusted. Brand new/unused coffee pot hadn't been washed. Only 1 bar of soap instead of the usual 1 for the shower & 1 for the sink. Hair dryer was broken ! No spare at the front desk ! The kind lady at the desk did, however, get me into a recently vacated room to use that hairdryer.

BE WARNED - THERE IS...

Liked: It was reasonably priced and not too far from the port.
Disliked: There is no elevator. That information should have been put out there in a way that no one could miss it before booking. That was not the case. I was not aware until after I checked in and was assigned a 2nd floor room. I was traveling with my two children - there was no other adult - and we each had very large, heavy suitcases as we were about to go on a cruise for a week. I explained to the clerk that it would be extremely difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs so I needed a first floor room. She “checked” and told me there were not any available. At this point, I was not mad, but I did explain that I would like to cancel without a penalty/cancellation fee because it just wasn’t feasible in my mind to carry all of the luggage up the stairs then back down again in the morning with me being the only adult present. The clerk then told me there was “one room left on the first floor.” Though I did not express my anger publicly, I was mad at that point. If at least that one room was available (and I suspect there were actually more), then she outright lied to my face when she “checked” and told me there were “no rooms available” only 60 seconds earlier.

Liked: Proximity to downtown.The price was great.The staff was very nice, and let us check in earlier than was on the site.The size of the room was a huge surprise. It os a nice size.
Disliked: There is no elevator to get to the second floor. Walls are very thin, so you can hear everything.The bathroom was very run down, and the fan runs nonstop. The floors felt very wet under our feet.
