A relaxing, characterful stay.
Liked: Fantastic spa facilities and good service.
Disliked: Only had one meal, but didn’t rate the dinner (bar menu).

Disliked: Unfortunetly there was a power cut. which lasted from 7pm till midnight. So no dinner and it was cold so ended up after turkey sandwich and a whisky going to bed.

Disappointing stay, outdated amenities and...
Liked: Lovely building and grounds, really good. Staff were happy to be working there, it seemed.
Disliked: We upgraded our room on the day of arrival, only to find that the TV was not working. The following morning, we were informed this was due to fog. Unfortunately, the TV was very outdated and lacked access to modern services like Netflix or other streaming platforms, which was disappointing for a hotel aiming for a high-end market.When I raised the issue with Danny, the operations manager, I was told it was beyond their control. While the staff were polite and apologetic, no discount or compensation was offered, which left me feeling undervalued as a guest.We had chosen to dine early due to the hotel being busy, and with mains priced at £50+ and the room costing over £400 for one night, I expected a higher standard of amenities and customer service. For a premium establishment, outdated facilities and a lack of resolution for guest concerns are simply not acceptable.

Liked: Breakfast and dinner was amazing. Genuine good service still has a meaning at the Fawsley.With young trainee sommeliers like in this hotel - there is a future for hospitality.
