Fawsley Hall Hotel dates back to Tudor times and still retains many of its original features. An excellent stay for a...

Liked: Came for a friend's wedding. The hotel was obviously experienced at doing this sort of thing, and they did it very well. We splashed out and stayed in the old part of the house, which was definitely the thing to do. Big room, big bathroom, very nice. (Others who stayed in more modern parts were less impressed.) A lovely old (like, really old - 15C in parts) building, in very pleasant and completely quiet countryside.Oh, and they valet parked my bicycle - top stuff!
Disliked: You pay top dollar for the good stuff. So it ain't cheap. But you gets what you pay for.I'm afraid the house MC for the wedding was perhaps a tiny bit too fond of his act... He was among actors, though, poor chap, on this occasion, but he didn't always quite 'read the room'...
