Liked: Property is perfectly located in the center of town.
Disliked: Our heater was not working. They did put in a space heater to make up for the non-functioning heater.

Avoid Room 503

Liked: Location and styling great
Disliked: Room 503. We had multiple, I think 8, heat pumps attached to our room's exterior wall. The whole room vibrates when they run and it was cold so heat was on. In looking around it was the only room we could see with that set up. Obviously, the staff could not do anything about it and ignored our complaints. Also, the room was literally right on the street, headboard faces sidewalk. While tolerable, it was loud, both people and trucks, particularly a garbage truck that parked right outside our window. There are much better options for rooms in Faraway.

Great location, good restaurant, terrible...

Liked: The in town location was great. Also the Sister Ship restaurant was fun and the service was excellent. Our room was fine.
Disliked: The hotel staff was not customer-focused or eager to be helpful at all. Routine requests were treated as bothersome or foolish with no effort to be accommodating. Our room was fine, but the bathroom was tiny and difficult to navigate. The bed was high but no step stool was available and requests for some sort of platform aid were dismissed as unreasonable. Would not recommend staying at this property if you are over 65 or have any type of mobility limitations. The biggest disappointment was that it was billed as (and the room rate reflected) a luxury hotel, but the service was no where near that standard.

Lovely stay!

Liked: The decor was very charming and the location was perfect! It was a lovely hotel to stay. It was great that complimentary bikes were available, as well as a coffee and tea bar.
Disliked: We felt that some of midday staff could have been more client-forward.

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Courtyards were delightful and relaxing. Location was excellent, we walked and biked everywhere—no car needed!
Disliked: Housekeeping wasn’t able to get to our room until mid-afternoon. Not a huge deal and room was very clean and comfortable.
