Liked: I recently stayed at Kooyk Hotel in Amsterdam, and overall, it was a decent experience. The biggest plus for me was the location – it’s really central, just a short walk to Leidseplein and close to museums and attractions. It made exploring the city super easy.The staff were also really friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcome during my stay. However, the hotel is pretty basic. The bathroom was quite small, and I think some of the facilities could use a bit of an update.One thing to note – the staircase is really steep, like typical old Amsterdam buildings. It might be a bit tough if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns.All in all, it’s a simple hotel with a great location and nice people, but don’t expect luxury. Good for a short stay if you plan to be out and about most of the time.
