Liked: The host was lovely. I enjoyed talking with her and the breakfast was terrific. The property is also beautiful though we did not get a chance to walk around it. I appreciated the mini-split AC/Heater which let us control the temperature. The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft. If you like the charm of an older home and an antique feel, you will really like this place.
Disliked: The bed required a two-step stool which made me uncomfortable knowing that I would likely need to get up in the middle of the night. The bathroom was not very nice. There was dirt or mold around the caulking and the shower was tiny. Also, it took a long time to get some warm water. In addition, nearly as soon as I walked into the room, my nose stuffed up, probably due to the carpeting. If I owned this property, I would spend some time and money touching up knicks and paint. Overall, the building was just not in great shape. Even some of the chairs in the dining room had big lumps in the center.

Liked: I loved the location and the wonderful breakfasts.Bathroom was very clean.
Disliked: The room we stayed in needs a little attention and care. Both the side chairs were upholstery, but the upholstery was very stained. I wouldn't even sit on them. Also, the bath tub mat cracked and torn. It seems a very inexpensive replaceable item. I think a little tlc and the room would be top notch.

Lovely place to stay -...

Liked: The house is beautiful and maintained with care by the owners! It’s close to Carlisle and Dickinson College but immersed in a lovely green area. Our host was lovely and the breakfasts were creative and generous!
Disliked: The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom was very tiny. It was a little pricey given that it’s in Carlisle.
