Needs a revamp

Liked: Location and staff were great as was shuttle service.
Disliked: No shower gel ( empty bottle). Poor info on newsletter provided ( wrong opening days of bar meals) sports bar pool table and cues of poor quality.

Mini break

Liked: The food at breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and the buffet style was great as you could pick and choose and go back as many times as you liked. The room sizes were great, nice and big and spacious. There was also a menu on the table at breakfast which you could choose from if you wished.
Disliked: The access to the back of the hotel was very very poorly lit in the evening, yes there were low lights on the walk way, but at the sliding doors there was no lighting whatsoever, we were there with my dad and I definitely would not let him walk in and out of those back doors in the evening, at some points when walking through the door, you couldn't even see you feet, so it was a bad trip hazard waiting to happen. We did highlight to a manager who thanked us for our feedback.

Liked: Staff are brilliant. Breakfast selection is really good too. Shuttle from the hotel to st andrews is really helpful and runs until 6pm for free.
Disliked: Spa feels slightly tired and had to be booked in advance even for swimming. More fruit at breakfast.

Beautiful clean hotel, great staff...

Liked: Love the freedom of the hotel and size, u can always find a nice quiet place to sit and enjoy a drink
Disliked: I have stayed twice a few times over the years and I thought the prices were very high, asking for £12 for a tiny jar of peanuts and £15 for a glass of wine in a very cheap wine glass is asking alot especially in a cost of living crisis. We enjoyed a spa treatment which we loved and staff were lovely. But £110 a treatment and to add 10% on top for tip is a bit much so £240 for a couple 50min massage is very expensive.
