Exceptional

Excellent, relaxing stay. Will definitely...

Liked: The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. Room service quick and excellent. Spa access included with stay, you do have to book (at weekends) but never a problem with booking whatever time you wish. The breakfast quality is amazing and there is so much choice. Also able to order directly from a menu. Every staff member was extremely friendly, polite and accommodating.
Disliked: Nothing. If had to really give an answer, it would be that the tv isn’t a smart tv and wasn’t use of extra apps/YouTube/Netflix etc but not a problem.

Liked: It was very comfortable & warm & the views were beautiful
Disliked: Wasn’t crazy about the food

Liked: Breakfast was outstanding
Disliked: The price for food and drink was absolutely ridiculous. I am happy to pay high prices in a high end place like this, although this was purely ripping people off. Disgusting.

Fabulous Chill Time

Liked: Once again, another first class stay at the Fairmont - from first arriving and initial welcome until we were leaving, all staff very genuine and friendly. Had dinner in the Squire restaurant - cracking choice and food/wine excellent. Room lovely and warm plus complete relaxing experience as always, helped by a couple of tasty malt whisky's. Will be back and thank you as always.
Disliked: Nothing.

Enjoyed St Andrews and surrounding...

Liked: Good location for quietness. Hotel and room spacious. Nice bathroom and towels. Front door staff courteous and helpful with bags.
Disliked: Not 5 star by any stretch of imagination and patchy 4 star. Some restaurants closed so not good choice for dining and menu choices poor if have dietary concerns. Staff issues in restaurants meant wrong food order one night and omelettes delivered to wrong table at breakfast. Not best breakfast i’ve eaten. Added10% for service added on to bills not justified. Furniture and fittings obviously not checked for wear and tear and some suspect resulting in small accident in pool area.
