Liked: The fact that it’s in Sonoma and it’s close to the heart of town. Also, the river stream that ran through the property was nice and all the chairs and tables set up by the gas fireplaces throughout the property offered a hang out spot outdoors
Disliked: No hot tub, the fact that you had to pay extra to use the hot tub seemed a little ridiculous to me. Also, our room did not come with robes. We had to call for the robes, and then they only brought one instead of two. Online I believe the picture of our suite that we had a clawfoot tub and the tub we got was small and part of the bathroom. It was different than advertised in picture.

Liked: This is my second year going to this property for NYE and it's so much fun. This hotel has such old world charm - I love it!
Disliked: The hotel could use some updating but otherwise, it's perfect.

Liked: coming to Fairmont Mission Sonoma often as this place feels warm and welcoming. love comfortable chairs in the lobby, free wine testing, comfortable clean rooms! staff are very friendly, met us with the glass of champagne. restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner, will definitely come again
Disliked: it is getting too expensive to stay here

Liked: Beautiful grounds with nice outdoor seating and beautiful landscaping.
Disliked: Small room with few amenities but a high price. On a cold night cold air came out of the heater until an engineer fixed it. No blanket or comforter on the bed until we asked for them. Old and small towels in the bathroom, no face wipes. No bottled water in the room. Alarm from last customer went off at 4am. Staff were not able to seat us at breakfast unless we wanted to sit in the lobby and crowd around a small table. They would not seat us outside. Area around the hotel has vacant buildings and is not near the center of town. Surprised that a Fairmount would not have helpful staff and better facilities.
