Overall the stay was well. The staff were really nice. But the walls were really thin so hearing the couple next door was slightly awkward. Also the room didn't get very cool - we had the thermostat as low as possible.

Liked: Smoked guacamole with plantain chips was best part of the meal
Disliked: Food was not good beef tenderloin was grissle and fat ladden...hidden under piles of camouflage to cover up inferior cut of meat. Fish was lukewarm at best....over sauced. The music in restaurant was so loud and conflicted with roaming sax player who was also very loud...so much so you couldn't carry on a conversation at your table without having to shout at eachother....not great at all. Thanks for the migraine

Amazing hotel at a great...

Liked: We stayed at a Fairmont Gold suite. The newly renovated rooms are very pretty and feel luxurious. We requested a Christmas tree in our room before our arrival. The tree was a little bit smaller than imagined but it was so pretty. And the communication/service to arrange this request was sublime. The staff was wonderful and exceptional friendly. We loved our stay and when returning to Chicago, we will choose this accommodation again.
Disliked: The room was a little bit chilly and the temperature was lower than what the thermostat mentioned. Just a small detail.
