I was offered an upgrade...

Liked: I was offered an upgrade (at a premium cash price) upon arrival which I accepted and paid for in full, but when I arrived in the room it was filthy, it had clearly not been cleaned sufficiently from the previous guests, they were drink rings on the surfaces and The floors were filthy. Also, there was debris in and around the couch cushions crumbs from cookies, candy and other sweets. The luggage rack was also broken. They eventually moved me to another room but it just seems like the departments within the hotel have poor communications, nobody seemed to know what was going on with my room and they all seemed a little bit lost, the staff were very sweet and friendly though but yeah, quite disorganised for a hotel of the size (not that large) I highly doubt I’ll ever stay here again, but Whistler itself was amazing. Also, there are a LOT of families and children, this is branded as a tranquil serene getaway and it is far from that, they are screaming children in the lobby and in the spa facilities all day and it is extremely difficult to relax

Liked: One of the most wonderful hotels we have stayed in. Everything detail had been considered down to Thera massage guns behind reception in the health spa for post ski muscle pain, the ski valet service, free tea and coffee set out with fresh fruit around the hotel at key points in the day. The staff were polite, friendly and empowered to make guests feel comfortable and special. There were a brilliant range of additional experiences out in for no additional costs to guests; hiking along a beautiful trail known for a 70 year old train wreck and bears, crystal sound healing and yoga sessions, a meet and greet with Archie the hotel dog.
