Liked: Fairhaven is my favorite area in Bellingham

Tired hotel with NO service.

Liked: The location was the only thing we liked about the hotel. Its right in the middle of everything. The free parking is nice also
Disliked: So we paid over $1500 for 5 days (little over $300/night) and they did not clean our room UNLESS you requested. Now I know this is the "new" thing since COVID, but COVID is over. I expect - if I pay this amount - to have room service. Some hotels have started the every 3 days - that seems reasonable too (or at least acceptable). On the 4th day - we requested room service - the bathroom was NOT cleaned, the door to the balcony was left open, and the bench at the end of the bed was in the middle of the room (did they NOT take a last look as they left). Also paid extra for a balcony with water view - we could see the water but it was over a bunch of warehouses for shipping - WHAT! Come on folks - you can do better. We will NOT recommend this place (we will actually dissuade anyone from staying here) and of course, we won't be back.

Old time luxury

Liked: Drinking coffee on the balcony overlooking Bellingham Bay was delightful. The bathroom products smell amazing, and the bar next door is fancy. It felt like an old time movie.
Disliked: No microwave
