We’ve stayed here for the...

Liked: NOT A LOT!!!!!!
Disliked: We’ve stayed here for the past four years, and honestly, it used to feel like a home away from home. We loved it. But this year… it just wasn’t the same, and it breaks my heart to say that.Check-in set the tone. It was barely okay. When we arrived, we had to wait while the man at the front desk talked with someone else—fine, that happens. But he didn’t even acknowledge us during the wait, not a smile, not a “I’ll be right with you.” And when he finally did speak to us, he was cold and unfriendly. It felt like we were an inconvenience, not guests who’ve been coming here for years.The staff, who we used to remember as so warm and kind, just didn’t have the same energy. One moment that really bothered me: my nephews were told they couldn’t keep walking in and out of the lobby. I get it—rules are rules—but it was said in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh. I went in myself to ask if there was another way they could go in and out, and the excuse given was that the lobby was being mopped. But it clearly hadn’t been recently—it was dry, and quiet. It felt more like we were being brushed off than helped.Housekeeping was another letdown. Our first night, we arrived late and asked them to come back the next day—which they did, and I appreciated that. But after that? It felt like they gave up on our room. Yes, we got clean towels, but the bathrooms weren’t cleaned, the floors weren’t vacuumed, and the beds weren’t made. And while we usually straighten our beds ourselves, I made sure we were out of the room long enough for proper cleaning. Still, it didn’t happen—again and again.This stay left me feeling disappointed and honestly a little sad. We used to look forward to coming here. It was part of our tradition, part of visiting family and making memories. But now, it feels like something has changed—and not for the better. I guess it’s time to start looking for a new place to stay when we come to visit my nieces and nephews.

It was great no complaints.

Liked: I love that when I walked into the hotel it smelled so good. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was great. I will be going back to visit and will stay in this hotel again.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Staff was awesome!
Disliked: Hotel was approx 8 years old and some of the construction issues should have been fixed years ago!, bathroom door would not close because it hit the tile threshold and door was chipped away on the front, obvious it has been an issue for awhile.Tub drain would not stay open. After every shower, you had to spend 5 minutes on the floor holding the drain up to let the water empty out, SMH !

Liked: Loved the hotel, clean, quiet, great breakfast, 24 hours coffee and tea and gym. Front desk people ZERO personality, would not accommodate an early arrival at all, and the pool was SO cold it was unswimmable. We asked if there was a warmer to turn it up, but no. We paid extra for the pool we couldn't use. Overall an amazing and beautiful hotel with all you need. But not everything was accommodating

The stay itself was great

Liked: I was participating in an event at Hunters Point and upon leaving/check out a very nice lady told me that in the furture to tell them and they give a discount for the reservation. Not sure why that could not have been applied or reimbursed considering I booked the hotel for this event way in advance to secure my stay.
Disliked: upon check in, they could have asked if I was in town for something which they gave a discounted rate instead of charging my card for the full amount

Liked: They had another room available for me. And housekeeping always on point with wants and needs and on top of their cleaning.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact some young girls were causing a disturbance on the 2nd floor running down the halls playing and loud, so I calledthey moved me on the 3rd floor and to be waking at 12:45 am of doors slaming and cussing to whomever it was next door being loud and up all nite until fussing. This was my first time since staying I didn't get rest after a long week of work.
