Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino, Tampa

My friend & I had a really good time staying at this hotel. The room was nice & cozy. The only cons were that there was no fridge in the room so that was a bit of a pain and the breakfast area was very tiny and crowded. Overall, though, these cons did not effect my overall stay. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again should I visit Tampa more. :)

Liked: Clean; stylish; comfortable beds; affordable.
Disliked: Breakfast; no fridge in rooms.

My experience was very good. Stayed one night for concert and everything was great.

Liked: Nice, clean, and peaceful room.

I would definetely stay here again. The only issue we had was pickup from the concert. We probably should have verified the pickup location when they dropped us off. We walked to where they dropped us off, called the hotel and they told us to go to the pink arches near the highway. Well, we didn't know where we were going (never been there). Walked to the highway in the mud and had to argue with the hotel to pick us up at a gas station we found. The rooms were very nice, breakfast was edible, pool was good. Overall I liked the hotel minus the blip in pickup.

Liked: Breakfast was a little more limited on items than I'm use to. The location was close to our soccer tournament but not exactly in the best neighborhood and nothing in walking distance.
Disliked: The sofa mattress is horrible as most are, very weird stains on the bathroom floor and counter top.

Not a bad place to...

Liked: The breakfast wasn't bad for being free and the staff was great.
Disliked: The early fire alarm testing at 8am. Thank god we were up already for breakfast.

Liked: Breakfast was ordinary. The location was isolated. No restaurants within miles unless you want to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and pay to park and a premium for meals because you are in a casino

Some minor problems but overall...

Disliked: The bed was lumpy. My wife sustained what appeared to be bug bits on her feet and legs while napping. We asked for housekeeping service but never got it.
