Decent, but will seek other...
Liked: The included breakfast, free parking, nice shower, and comfortable beds.
Disliked: 1. The (lack of) cleaning: daily cleaning of the room is not automatic, nor is changing the sheets. We found out mid-way through our stay when we asked for cleaning and were told “it wasn't our day.” They said they notified us at check-in- their policy is printed on a looseleaf piece of paper but was not verbally communicated to us. After driving six plus ours and arriving close to midnight, we missed the chance for cleaning until we enquired. Gross.2. The business room is an off-shoot of the lobby, and not an enclosed space. If the lobby is loud (as it is frequently, due to both guests and hotel staff), working is challenging. You can rent the boardroom but even tracking down the rate was challenging. The rate felt high.3. No hot water kettle for tea in the room. You can get hot water in the lobby.4. The staff was hit or miss. Some were quite pleasant (those at breakfast), some were defensive and unhelpful. Eventually, I found people willing to help me solve issues.5. The front desk is frequently unstaffed. And not just because an employee is off on a bathroom break as was suggested to me. More than once, I called and no one picked up. When that failed, I walked down and no one was there. I had to knock loudly on the attached office door to get attention, or wait. More than once, I gave up.I understand, and was told, that this property was understaffed. They seemed to be taking steps to hire new people. My overall impression: decent value but they are not ready for primetime. I will not return.
