Just adequate, next time I...
Liked: Room was a good size, bathroom was excellent, very clean
Disliked: Didn't get the upgrade I paid for (room with a balcony for morning coffee) still waiting to see if it gets adjusted, had a last minute guest so needed the fold out couch, bed not made and both sheets were fitted bottom sheets, blanket was very thin, bed located near the AC and guest was very uncomfortable.

Liked: This is a great facility. Very nice. Very clean. Great breakfast area and food options.
Disliked: The only complaint would be the hallway and floor-above noise. There weren’t any loud people there and yet we heard everything happening outside the door.

Double charges
Disliked: The manager charged me for both rooms and two 50.00 charges for incidentals after we stayed there, and I had already paid for both rooms through Booking.Com and Expedia.com. The customer service line was disrespectful and was not patient with me to find out why I had been charged twice for two rooms. She called me rude when she would not help with all the charges, and I asked her who else I could call. I do want to mention that I finally found the phone number to the Santa Cruz location. The person was abrupt at first, but when she heard my issue she looked it up and did her best to help and get the problem communicated to the right people. The manager that charged my card was not working there anymore. I have to wait for another manager to come in Monday to fix this. The person on the phone in Santa Cruz said both rooms were paid for on a 3rd party website and when I checked in on Christmas Eve the person at the counter told me both rooms were paid for in advance. Nobody knows why I was charged again by the Hotel. The hotel sent me a receipt in my email yesterday showing how they charged my card for both rooms. I trusted the Hotel with my credit card for incidentals and this is what happened to me.

A very lovely hotel in...
Liked: The lobby is lovely, and the rooms are quite spacious, upscale and clean. The bathroom and shower are large, and the towels are big and soft. There is ample free parking. Because the hotel is off the main part of Mission, it is very quiet. The breakfast was unexpectedly good; most free hotel breakfasts are marginal at best. There are four food stations with both hot and cold options. I am picky about hotels and would absolutely stay here again. (I am from Santa Cruz so am familiar with many hotels.)
Disliked: I can’t think of anything.
