Liked: Very friendly staff - from reception to back-end staff. Orange juice and ice water are provided at all times at reception. Free flow of hot coffee & tea at pantry. Hotel Location is within walking distance to all shopping districts and subways.
Disliked: There are so many Fairfield Hotel in NYC. U need to be careful with the address when booking Uber Ride.

Liked: Location Is great, close to Times Square and The Empire State Building, near subway station.Breakfast was ok as continental, with a modest variety of food.The room was clean.
Disliked: The room was small, as well as the bathroom.

Liked: The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The sink did not drain properly, so it was full of nasty residue.

Not safe for solo travelers

Liked: Although the staff was very friendly and got me a new room after the incident, I would not recommend this hotel
Disliked: Someone tried to break into my room. I have no idea how this could happen since they use electronic keys, but it did. As a female solo traveler, I don't expect this to happen in a hotel room. Thankfully, I remembered to set up the door lock mechanism, which stopped this person from getting in, although they tried. It's not safe.
