If visiting Mall of America...

Liked: Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great! We had breakfast two mornings. The Breakfast area was clean and plenty off food for all. From the front desk, breakfast staff to those cleaning the rooms, the staff were all very helpful and so nice. We also enjoyed the pool area. Clean and plenty of room for guest to relax and play.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like was the planes flying over. That's out of control of the hotel. We checked in on a Sunday and heard not planes that day. Monday and Tuesday morning and evening there were quiet a few. They didn't wake us up or keep us up at night though.

Disliked: The carpet in the FIRST room was soaking wet. Not soaking as if from someone coming out of the shower or up from the pool, but as if a carpet had recently been cleaned but not dried.There were no other rooms available on the first night, so the "manager" (?) brought up a number of bath towels to cover a few parts of the carpet. However, anyone with half a brain knows what happens when you place a towel over a puddle of liquid. So then there were saturated bath towels on top of the soaking wet carpet.The next day when another room was available, I was given the room keys to make the move. After reassembling and transferring all of my luggage, purchases and refrigerated items to the SECOND room, I discovered the tv didn't work. When I picked up the room phone to call the front desk, I discovered the phone didn't work either.So, I went down to the front desk to notify them of the problems with the SECOND room and was given keys to a THIRD room - which meant reassembling and moving all of my things yet again. The bed(s) in the THIRD room were the worst of all three...and none of them were better than an old, worn hammock.I am a 70-year old woman with disability, mobility issues and ambulate with a cane. All of this moving and lugging, from room to room, was VERY challenging and by the time I went to the event for which I'd traveled from CA to MN, I was sweaty, exhausted and in much greater physical pain than I can describe.

Liked: The hotel was very clean and super quiet. The room was spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub were working! Breakfast was awesome with a selection of hot food items and fresh fruit salad!
