Meets Expectations

Liked: The location is a short drive away from downtown, and there are multiple stores including a Walmart, Starbucks, McDonald, etc, within walking distance from the hotel.
Disliked: The area directly around the hotel has been developed and it's nice, but it's also right on the edge of neighborhoods many would likely avoid. I also chose to stay in a room on the bottom floor/south side, due to the proximity of a cell tower which is located on the north side of the hotel.

Disappointing and not value for...

Liked: The reception staff were friendly, it was clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: There was no breakfast the first morning, the chef didn’t turn up. There was no offer of compensation, the reception staff said I needed to speak to the manager. The manager was not around when we were in the hotel. I therefore emailed him as advised by the receptionist, he did not reply. We stayed 3 nights, the beds weren’t made and the bins not emptied during that time- very poor and disappointing. This was a long anticipated trip for which we had planned for a long time, we wanted to stay in a nice hotel for our 3 days in Milwaukee however, we did not get what we paid for. We stayed in far less expensive places during this trip and this was the worst value for money. Very disappointing.
