Great facility, friendly staff, rooms...

Liked: This property has recently been remodeled, so everything is new! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the coffee was great. We have stayed in other hotels in this area, and I believe the Fairfield is better than the others. It was Thanksgiving weekend, so their housekeeping staff had Thanksgiving Day off - however, the hotel told us about this on check in, so we were not surprised by it. If we had needed something, I'm sure we would have been able to get it. There is road construction going on in the area, which makes it a little inconvenient, but I feel it is worth it. Even with the construction, the room was quiet. The room we were in had 12 foot ceilings! It made the room feel bigger. The shower was roomy and towels were plentiful. Loved the soap products - lavender and eucalyptus - nice smell, but not overpowering. We had two bath mats, which was nice for getting out of the shower and for standing at the sink. Tile floors can be cold! :) All in all, a great experience.

Liked: I liked how clean the room was. And the breakfast was convenient (I only wanted coffee).
Disliked: The AC/Heater unit and thermostat was making clicking sounds all night, couldn’t sleep well.

Disliked: I had the room booked at Fairfield Inn in Shawnee KS. Upon arrival, was given room key, didn't work, then was gold they are booked up that I need to go next door to Comfort Suites. I did, room wasn't nearly as nice, just not as clean, but acceptable. Then couldn't use the treadmill, so asked if I could use it at Fairfield, front desk said yes, but of course my key didn't work, so they had to let me in. Then upon check out at the front desk at Comfort Suites to try and get my receipt it took about 15 minutes because I didn't show there so I had to go back over to Fairfield Inn to get my receipt. Not a big hassle, but frustrating after a long day of travel.
