Smelly hotel

Liked: The location is convenient for going to Galveston.
Disliked: The whole hotel had a very musty smell. The rooms had a chemical-like smell mixed with this same musty odor. It was not pleasant. The breakfast was lacking. I know it's not meant to be something fancy but the waffle iron didn't work well and the refrigerator wasn't restocked while we were present. There was no online check in. This was a bit inconvenient only because no one was at the front desk to greet us. Then we had to wait to see if the rooms were ready. This was late in the day( around 5pm), not like an early check in.

Liked: Black out curtains had holes in them. Sink drained slow due to improper adjustment. Bathroom door scrapped the floor making it difficult to open and close. Floor may be buckled.
Disliked: See above statement.

Enjoyable Stay

Liked: The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast had a nice variety.
Disliked: The room wouldn't regulate the temperature well. when the AC came on it would quickly become too cold. when it would turn off, we had the opposite problem with the room becoming warm. But despite this, I would stay here again.
