Liked: The breakfast was bad on Friday, November 29, 2025, at the Hollister, CA Fairfield Inn because there were no coffee cups. How hard is it to make sure you have coffee cups stocked in the breakfast room. I watched several patrons ask for coffee cups and they were told that someone was working on it. 20 minutes later there still were no coffee cups. I asked the lady at the front desk to do something about the lack of coffee cups and was told "that someone was working on it" to which I replied no they were not and what poor service the hotel was providing if the staff could not figure out that coffee cups are essential to the breakfast service. Coffee cups appeared in a few minutes.
Disliked: I did not like that there were no coffee cups at breakfast on Friday, November 29, 2025, and that it took a considerable amount of time for coffee cups to appear after so many customers were asking for them. I did not like that the water was luke warm in the shower.I did not like that the Hollister, CA location is going to ask a parking fee of $5.00 in 2025. That is really getting greedy and nickel and diming the patrons.My Dad used to say "Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered." In other words, there is a tipping point when businesses start to sacrifice customer service for greed. And you have reached it. Luke warm water in the shower. No coffee cups and charging for parking in a town that is not a major metropolitan center. Wake up and smell the coffee since you have no cups. I will be searching out another place to stay for Christmas 2025.

Disliked: We were transferred to another room due to the noise of the room next door. Not able to sleep good all night. Wall banging was terrible. So irritating. Otherwise, everything should have been fine.

Not a bad place, but...

Liked: The breakfast was actually pretty good. Although the scrambled eggs mixture could have been more moist. We were surprised with the selection of oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, bagels, waffles, and bagels.
Disliked: The TV streaming did not work at all and when called down to front desk, they responded by saying we were not the only ones having the issue and did not have anyone to fix the problem.
