Disliked: I was very surprised with the charge for parking at a hotel that is not on a busy street or part of town. These locations never charge for parking!

Liked: Our reservation somehow came over from booking wrong. We booked a double queen and Fairfield got it as a king. I was traveling with my mom for a funeral - our third in less than 2 years. They were fully booked for double queens and could not accommodate us in a double the first night but told us they could move us the second day. The second morning we asked about moving and we were told the cleaners got in at 9:00. We had to go meet family at 11:00 and the room still wasn’t ready. We just felt so disappointed because the mistake was not ours in the first place then we were made to wait and wait and wait thinking the new room would be ready but then it wasn’t. People were kind but it was frustrating while we were just trying to find some peace in a time of more trauma.
