Disliked: We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holidays, understanding that these are special dates. However, our experience left much to be desired, especially compared to three other Fairfield hotels we stayed at this year.From the first day, we noticed a lack of clarity in the services. Our room was not cleaned, and when we asked about it, we were told that cleaning is done every other day unless daily service is specifically requested. I believe such policies should be clearly communicated during check-in, as they affect the overall perception of the service.When the room was cleaned, the service was superficial: no deep cleaning was done, and the sheets were not changed. Additionally, on December 25th, no cleaning services were provided at all because, as explained to us, the staff was given the day off. While we understand these are significant dates, the cost of our stay did not reflect this lack of service, which was disappointing.The breakfast was another major letdown. While there was always a protein option, such as sausages, the variety was very limited: essentially just scrambled eggs and one type of meat. During our six-day stay, bacon was offered only once. On one occasion, we arrived at 8:40 am, twenty minutes before breakfast service ended, and there were no scrambled eggs left. We were told to opt for waffles instead, which is unacceptable given the already limited food options.Overall, the experience did not live up to the standards of other hotels in the same chain. We expected a higher level of service and customer care. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for the consistency and quality that Fairfield is known for.
