Poor Service and Safety Incident
Liked: The location was convenient. Other than that,
Disliked: In the middle of the night, someone (who had a key card that unlocked my door) tried to enter my room (#101). Fortunately, the secondary latch was engaged so they couldn't access. But they tried repeatedly to push their way in. After 10 minutes of silence, I tried to open the door. The door was stuck in an open position (1/2 inch) because the deadbolt was deployed and I was unable to disengage the lock. I called the front desk and, eventually, Raj came to my door. It took us 5 minutes to clear the two locks so that I wasn't trapped. I asked Raj to please have the manager call me when he/she arrived in the morning. It's been 4 days and I still haven't heard from anyone.

Disgraceful. Worst Fairfield/Marriott property I’ve...
Liked: It was within close walking distance to restaurants and across the street from the conference I was attending.
Disliked: Where to begin… When I arrived to my room, one of the beds had covers pulled back, pillows smashed etc, clearly the bed had been used. Made me scared there was someone in the room. I went back downstairs to inform the desk, and the staff said there were no other rooms available, and her shift was ending in 30 minutes. She needed me “to understand” that she was there alone and did not have anyone to attend to the room for me. She told me “use the other bed”. She said someone had checked into that room earlier, and then switched rooms, due to the guest claiming the toilet wasn’t functioning properly, so they sent maintenance, and that’s why the bathroom light had also been on. The toilet was in fact not flushing properly during my stay. You had to attempt to flush about 5 times, and wait in between each try. I didn’t have time for this; needed to get to my conference. This place was horrible. Loud guests next door with the TV turned up all night, dirty carpet in the hallway, funky old smell in the room, lots of wear and tear in the room. The entire place could use remodeling. There really was no breakfast to speak of… don’t even bother with the “hot” items. One morning there was no milk for the cereal. An entire mini fridge full of only chocolate milk containers. Seriously? “My room” was finally serviced on the 3rd day of me being there, after there had been no soap bar or clean hand towels (since the prior brief guest had used them already). Not only is it completely unsightly and disrespectful to give a used room to a guest, there are also endless unsanitary implications. I’ve never had this happen to me ever before in my life, and I travel countless times a year for a living. Just an ounce of customer service recovery would go a long way. I should have received some compensation or in the least, been offered an alternate CLEAN room when it became available, as they weren’t going to do anything about that particular room.

Will not stay here again!
Liked: The location was great for where I needed to be.
Disliked: This place does not uphold the Marriott name. It was not as we expected. It is not as updated as I expected. The carpeting looks old. The hallways were very hot and humid. They had no air circulating in the building. Not all of the rooms have microwaves, and the refrigerator in our room never got cold enough to keep our beverages and food chilled. I will not stay here again. I was very disappointed.

Liked: The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is ok.
Disliked: The pool was closed. We picked this location because of the pool. It was very disappointing. We had other hotels to choose from but decided on this location because of the pool.
