The employees were very pleasant. Please come stay. You will thank me later.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Terrie, Charlotte, visiting Bojangles Coliseum Mon, 2 March 2015

Very thin walls! Outdoor noise a problem as well but not more concerning than the privacy issue and inability to sleep. Updated nice furnishings; need to pump some insulation, sound barriers, static noise machines to increase room privacy.

Liked: Staff very nice, cordial and accomodating. Ambiance "Zen" nice sculptures. Beautiful furniture in conversation areas throughout the hotel lobby and bar. Food A+++ - Salmon Patties and Black Eyed Pea fritters. Would go back for dining only.
Disliked: Walls are very thin! Didn't notice until the people next door engaged in a normal conversation (sound level) at 4AM till 7 AM. I could hear the entire conversation. Paid $200 plus for this room!

Because this hotel is currently being remodeled, I was a little surprised when I first arrived. But my room was absolutely fantastic. It was brand new and so beautiful I was wishing I could stay another day just to enjoy it! The staff, especially the daytime crew, was extremely friendly and courteous and I would happily stay there again.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Kim S, Apex, NC, visiting The Fillmore Charlotte Fri, 16 May 2014

Have stayed there several times but this time was not the greatest because of construction. Would have been nice to know this in advance and had a choice to choose another hotel that did not have construction going on. Also did not know pool was unavailable.

Liked: Liked the remodeled floor we were on. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Hard to find because of detours from construction. Hotel sign was hidden by the construction. Was not told pool would not be open because of construction.

Check in was easy; the room was excellent and comfortable; the food we had in the bar was superb. Will stay here again, next time we are in Charlotte.

Liked: Everything was wonderful.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Angela, Smithfield, VA Tue, 19 March 2013

We stayed at a hotel the night before checking into the Crowne Plaza, that was $120 less, was much nicer and even included breakfast. The Crowne Plaza was a complete disappointment! They even wanted to charge us $17 to park at the hotel we were staying in. Stay at the Econo Lodge and expect more.

Liked: The lobby was beautiful, and gives the impression that the rooms will be nice.
Disliked: I was so disappointed. We planned a girls weekend, and planned on taking the complimentary shuttle, but it only went to the airport! The room was dirty, and in disrepair. I recommend finding another place to stay!

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

This is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We went down 3 days in advance of our stay and checked it out. We were glad we did because concert hotels says it is less than a quarter of a mile to the venue we were going to and it was actually right at a mile. That was disappointing because we were planning on walking to the venue. Nope we had to have a shuttle bus. I should've cancelled it right then and there because the day I checked in, it took me an hour to get checked in. Staff was rude, stopped and answered the phone every time it rang. Actually tried to get smart with me. Her behavior was unacceptable. I booked 4 rooms with this hotel and I will never do it again. The ac didn't work in 2 of the rooms. We were given 2 handicapped rooms, which was not necessary, and the bathroom doors were a struggle to close all theway. The showers were horrible. The shower heads would flip and wouldn't lock in place so you had to hold it to take a shower. I also found something in the nightstand drawer that disgusted me leaving me to believe that someone isn't doing their job as far as cleaning goes. It was a huge disappointment for that much money.

Liked: Nice lobby
Disliked: Definite no
