Great place to stay that's...

Liked: The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The hotel was clean and the room was spacious. And the breakfast was great! (The person staffing the breakfast that next morning was on top of it! We never ran out of anything on her watch. :) ) It looked like there was a space outside where you could grill out and sit with others to relax in warmer weather - next time! The convenience "shop" was well stocked. We enjoyed our brief stay - thanks!
Disliked: The indoor pool was tiny, but we didn't end up having time to use it anyway. (Would be perfect for small children.) We struggled to figure out how to adjust the temperature in the room, as did my mom in her room. Might consider providing instructions to make the room temperature more comfortable.

Liked: Attending a concert event at the Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte, the Fairfield by Marriott was the closest reasonable lodging. It lived up to expectations and proved to be very comfortable for us.

Disappointing

Disliked: The pool was small and not heated. The worst part was the company across the street had huge god lights going day and night. They were really bright and made it impossible to get a good night sleep.
