The valet parking guy was awesome and friendly. My complaint is, I went for breakfast and when I got back to my room my key card didn't work. The desk attendant was quite rude about it, made me feel bad like it was my fault and then made me show my ID when I got back in my room. He could use some customer service training since, as I patiently waited at the desk, he was flirting with a group of female guests. Due to this and the fact I couldn't close the curtains I will not be a returning patron. It was very clean though and my breakfast was good. Big thank you to the valet dude too!

Liked: Loved the breakfast and the man at the front desk I’m sorry but I forgot his name but he was super accommodating.
Disliked: There are a lot of homeless people around Calgary in general and this hotel is next to a food bank. So need to keep your wits about you but didn’t deter me from staying there as I would stay there again.

Convenient location

Liked: The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Sky360, and the breakfast buffet is included in my booking. The hotel staff is very friendly. I truly enjoyed my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Calgary Downtown.
Disliked: I stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Calgary Downtown during winter, and Calgary started to warm up on the date of my arrival. As a result, the floor on Level 1 was a bit wet and needed cleaning up, but that's understandable. It's not a big issue for me. The hotel staff placed a signage to warn guests of the wet floor.
