Liked: Convenience to business location I was visiting.
Disliked: Room wasn't up to the standards of a Marriott hotel. Ceiling had brown patches. Just not what I expected for the price on a Tuesday night in Anderson, SC.

Awful
Liked: The staff was cussing and throwing things because they had to clean rooms since no one showed up for work. There was no backup power when the lights went out. I left my room and was told I couldn’t get back in because the power was out. Waited in the lobby for a manager to call the staff back just to find out they are battery locks. I asked for my money back for the second night I didn’t stay and never heard back. I did not stay a second night and was charged $200. I will never stay there again and will share this experience with anyone I meet asking about where to stay for games.

Hurricane Helene came through Anderson...
Liked: Our reservation was on September 27th, 2024 when hurricane Helene came through Anderson. When we arrived there was no power in the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Anderson. There was no AC, and only one employee in the whole hotel. I asked the lady to cancel that reservation and she agreed. However the computer system was down and she couldn't do it at the time so she took my name and phone number and said that the hotel manager was going to call me to verify the cancellation. Is it now Saturday evening the 28th and I have received no call. We did not stay at the hotel because we could not. Everything was shut down. The lady I talked to who was the only person there told me she would take care of it and have my money credited back to my account. I assume your employees keep their word as well as the hotel management. My phone number is 864-760-7670. Thank you. Wayne Proctor
Disliked: The hotel was shut down because of hurricane Helene. We could not stay there, so our reservation was gladly canceled by the one and only employee at the hotel at the time. However there was no computer service, so she wrote my name down and phone number and said the manager would call me. I have received no calls yet and it is Saturday September 28th 2024.

Clean and comfy.
Liked: The young woman that worked in the evening was a joy ! She was cheerful and upbeat every time I encountered her. I am embarrassed to say I don’t remember her name.
Disliked: Can’t think of a thing.
