We booked a room at the Knights Inn about a month prior. We were going to attend a show at the House of Blues and booked the Knights Inn because of it's proximity. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach, we discovered that the Knights Inn was not only under construction, but, CLOSED. We had to spend about an hour on the phone with ConcertHotels; however, when it was all said and done, they found us a room at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott at no charge. In addition, they are refunding the money we spent for the Knights Inn. I could not have been more livid to find out that I had booked a room at a closed hotel; however, I could not be happier with the way it was handled. We attended the show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn - thanks to a good deal of hustle and diligence from ConcertHotels.com. THANK YOU!

Disliked: Bathroom floor not clean. Hair conditioner was empty, light at door wouldn’t turn off, tried to leave early to go shopping and an employee car was blocking me in at the front row. Luggage cart was worn out and very difficult to roll. Bathroom exhaust fan wasn’t working well.

Disliked: when I got to the room the tub was still wet. and on top of the shower curtain were 2 used dried up wash rags. because of thisbi couldn't feel comfortable if my sheets were clean.

Clean, decent room, but not...

Liked: The room was decent, bathroom and vanity was a little small, didn't;t have a safe. Carpets in hall way smelled and needed to be shampooed. Breakfeast was not the best but they did try. If they perked up the breakfast and offered better food and coffee it definitely would have been worth the money we paid, but if they don't step it up its not worth the money, it would be a two star at best.

It was satisfactory except for...

Liked: The facility was welcoming, more so than it was in 2007 when I stayed there.
Disliked: My wife and I were eating breakfast in our room. About 0900L, a knock came to the door. I got up to answer the door and got about a foot from the door, reached for the handle and then the door started opening. My wife was not decent at the time. It stopped the door with my hand then it was announced it was housekeeping. Checkout wasn’t until 1100L.
