Liked: The breakfast buffet was my only disappointment. Nothing is worse than cold eggs. The omelet I selected was barely warm at all. My husband complained about the consistency of the oatmeal, but that's a personal preference. All the other food on the buffet was pretty good. Otherwise, I would rate the property as an excellent value for the money.
Disliked: As I commented before, the breakfast buffet was my only disappointment.

Liked: Location was very convenient as it was only a short drive to Antelope Island which we'd planned to visit before heading to Salt Lake airport. There were several places to eat nearby and we enjoyed a meal at Pizza Pie Cafe. Breakfast was included, which is always a bonus!
Disliked: Area in Layton was a little soulless as was surrounded by similar hotels. We had a little difficulty finding the hotel and overshot the narrow turn-off to reach the location. This could have been because we were very tired after a long day's drive though.

Liked: Breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Bacon, eggs, sausage, juices, waffle maker, breads, cereal, milk, coffee & tea! Friendly staff.
Disliked: My only complaint is that when I checked in, in the afternoon, I requested a military discount and the pleasant attendant made a note to request it the next morning. When I checked the following evening, she confirmed it had been applied and there was a significant daily savings of at least $25! When I checked out, a different woman with bushy hair said no that the military rate was the original rate and eliminated $25 daily savings!!! That was a foul!!
