I would probably book at this hotel again but I found the staff to be a little rude and unable to deal with the increased demand of guests from the concert. I felt this way in general, however. The whole town itself did not handle the increased population from the concert. Dominos quoted us a 2 hour delay in the delivery of pizza after the concert and parking/traffic in downtown Bangor was not handled well.

Liked: The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Check in time was 1pm and we were traveling 6 hrs to get there so we did not arrive until 4pm and our room was still not ready. They said they were backed up because of the concert. When we arrived at our room it was out of toilet paper and it took at least an hour for toilet paper to be delivered to our room.

Liked: The beverage nook as you walk in the door and the cozy lounge area with the fireplace was nice! I like that there were snacks and drinks available to purchase at the front desk. The water bottle fill stations in the workout rooms were a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was very good and the attendants did a great job keeping it replenished!! The bed was comfortable and our shower was nice and clean. Loved the tile pattern in the shower and the extended shower rod. The soft light bordering the mirror was great for makeup application and I like that there was a light in the shower as well. I loved the personalized message with my name on the TV when arriving as well as leaving.
Disliked: I think there should be some sort of fresh air ventilation system put in the pool area as the pungent smell of chlorine was suffocating as soon as you opened the door. My 11 yo son complained that it made it hard to breathe and it was so strong that it burned his eyes. The towels ran out at one point. Our fan in our room didn’t blow warm air, and the fridge didn’t seem to cool

Disliked: My only complaint ever is the heavy doors that slam no matter how gentle you try to be and how crowded the pool/hot tub always gets.
