Disappointing

Liked: The place was nice and clean, and the staff at the front desk were warm and welcoming. However, there was one lady who seemed to be having a bad day and was transferring that negative energy onto us. The team was quick to answer the phone, and all my requests were handled promptly, which I really appreciated.
Disliked: We chose this property because of the images of the pool and fireplace; we were really looking forward to them since we were coming from an extremely cold place. However, we discovered that the pool is closed until May. I wish this information had been disclosed on the website, as it really affected our stay.The fireplace was lit after I mentioned it to the nice lady at the front desk, and I appreciated her prompt response. We traveled as a family of six and requested two rooms. We assumed they would be adjoining, but they weren't. In fact, we were told that the rooms were booked separately through the third-party website we used. This was disappointing because I thought they would be connected based on the questions asked during the booking process. I won’t blame the hotel, though; I should have done more research before making the reservation.
