Peaceful and relaxing

Liked: Very clean, well maintained, staff were lovely especially one of the wee girls behind the bar. Bed was very comfyDrinks where lovelyShower was fantastic Would defo come again and bring swimwear to enjoy the pool.
Disliked: Think we got the only room without a window. It had one but it was tiny and was covered with trees. We stayed in the turnberry room and were so disappointed not just because we didn’t have a view but because we had no outside light. Breakfast was not worth £25 for 2.

Lovely staff, clean rooms and...

Liked: Breakfast is great. Wee bit more choice for continental would make it spot on.Brilliant views and again- really welcoming and professional staff.
Disliked: The bubble pool has been broken for forever. Should let that be known at booking. Pool is super - along with a wee steam room and sauna. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Not what I expected

Liked: The bed was big so our toddler could sleep in it.
Disliked: The air vents in the bathroom did not work and were not informed about that. Secondly room service in the morning was poor the bedding wasn’t changed, bed looked like it was done by a two year old. No tissues had been replaced we had to ask reception for them. I was disappointed as this was a 4 star hotel we choose this instead of premier inn and regretted it. Cups for breakfast had staines we had to brave it out. It was meant to offer more than a premier inn and it failed to deliver! I would get opted for premier inn or alternatively Enterkine Hotel 15min away which is also for 4 star but better maintained.

Liked: Great size room and the bathroom was fabulous with an LED shower. The bed was nice and firm. Comfy pillows and the sheets and most areas looked clean. We had a meal in the restaurant, lovely food and the service was great. Same at breakfast. Friendly and pleasant staff.
Disliked: The room was quite warm and we couldn’t see anywhere to turn the heat down. The hotel needs some TLC. It’s old and tired in the rooms and public spaces with paint chipping and dirty carpets. They don’t clean behind the bed, there was a very dirty extension cable and there was dust on the ledges in the bathroom.
