Great place to stay in...

Liked: My husband and I stayed one night passing through Killarney and we really enjoyed this hotel. We were in the upper most room so it was nice and quiet at night and the view was pretty good from the windows. Bathroom seemed updated, had good heat and water pressure. After exploring the city center, we came back to the pub to enjoy a delicious dinner and some pints with live entertainment. Everyone was very nice. It was a great stay overall.

Liked: The friendly staff. Family run hotel. It is located very central to the town. Public parking 5 minute walk. Breakfast was traditional and very hot. Our room was comfortable and very clean.
Disliked: Maybe a bit more choice at breakfast. Fresh fruit, Jogurt would be great

Liked: My daughter was pleased with her stay but unfortunately she didn't get the proper experience at this hotel.. she and her new fiance had just got ENGAGED and it was also her 21st birthday weekend and I had requested that they would be made fell really special however it was a normal nice stay in a hotel and nothing out of the extraordinary.

I assumed that even a bottle of bubbles would be in their room upon arrival to celebrate but this was not the case. However they did have a nice break away

Not the location/place to stay...

Liked: The location is excellent. Toilet/shower room newly decorated and water pressure amazing. Bed very comfortable and room nice and warm.
Disliked: Breakfast was poor. Eggs were rubbery and the hash browns grey in colour. Rashers were chewy. Expensive for what we got and what we ate. Accommodation is above a first floor pub and a second floor restaurant area. The loud music goes on into the night then spills onto the streets. Not recommended if you want an early nights rest.

Great food. But no sleep...

Liked: The location was great and the food was phenomenal. Seriously the best shepherds pie I’ve ever had. We loved the heated towel rack.
Disliked: I do not recommend this for families or if you are not interested in partying and want actual sleep. We were on the top floor in room 2. People were loudly partying in the hallways of the hotel until 5 am. Thin walls/doors and we could hear everything in all conversations and I slept with earplugs in and could STILL hear everything. We came out in the morning to see beer bottles and bottle caps on the floor. There appears to be no hotel manager or concierge. We checked in with a waitress in the restaurant, there was never anyone at the hotel desk, and checked out with the same waitress in the restaurant. It was disappointing that it a ruckus was allowed to happen. But I think that maybe it’s normal for the fellas at the bar to just get pissed and head up stairs when the bar closes and keep drinking. 🤷🏼
