Disliked: I have stayed in a Extended Stay before and never had an issue. These owners should have their license pulled. We were to check into one room. It was so dirty we selected another room. Upon quick glance the room looked ok. From there it went down hill. The room was extremely dirty and had a lot of cockroaches. There was poop smeared on the back of the bathroom door. The wall by the bed had blood, semen, and phlegm near the head area and mid area of the bed in relation to the wall. The base boards had mildew, mold and hair around the perimeter of the bathroom, kitchen area, and bedroom. There was a ton of trash underneath the couch bed. The entertainment unit had dried puke/ or food on the front of the cabinet area. We actually cleaned the room. We also found a cockroach nest in the wall to the left of the refrigerator in the outlet that the refrigerator was plugged into. We spent $15 of our own money and used the rest of the owners disinfectant. My wife and I spent 1.5 hours cleaning the unit and that barely scratches the surface. I'm a US military veteran and we were in town to help my father-in-law who's wife died. We were there to help clean his house, help move furniture, and organize his house. This weekend was about being there for him. We just dealt with the hotel room. I told the owner, I wanted a minimum of $40 dollars back. Excuses. We cleaned and moved furniture all day on Saturday and came back to the room and more cockroaches. The extra blanket they gave us for the couch had holes in it from either moths or mice. We don't know. The blanket at least did not stink. Overall I would give this place a -4 if I could. I have slept in some pretty bad areas. I spent months in the woods sleeping on the ground in the military but, except for Albuquerque New Mexico's American Inn when I was in college in the early 90's, this was the worst hotel experience in my life. We should get a full refund.
