Disliked: I didn’t like that we didn’t have wi fi after we checked in , also did not appreciate the miscommunication with late checkout.

Liked: Ample of parking. Closer to freeway.
Disliked: Never to stay here again. I have been to Extended Stay America in the past however, this place is no where a match to what I have experienced in the past. We had a late check-in. The room was pathetic overall. The floor was dusty and dirty, appeared as if it was not swept or mopped. The window panel was tilted and could barely close completely. The window locks were broken. The bathroom door wouldn't close (door wouldn't fit into the frame). The commode seat was broken. We booked 2 double bed room for a total of 2 adults and 2 kids and the room had only 2 pillows. When I called up the front desk, the person in charge bluntly mentioned they may not have any more pillows. Upon requesting again she said she will go look around to find more pillows. She also mentioned that I need to come at the front desk to take the pillows (if she finds) and she wouldn't come and give it to us in the room.She handed me one pillow (with pillow cover put on) and the other pillow without a cover (gave a cover separately).

Liked: I dealt most with Sahara and her smile at check in. She made you feel important and valued, Devin, a great trainee under Sahara and housekeeping Ms. Gumerema very sweet, kind and motherly offering help when needed keeping my room supplied with fresh linen and towels. Selling and moving after 38 years is very stressful my hotel accommodations were excellent and made the transition easier.
Disliked: Smokers need common sense to move away from ducts, vents or door ways and to pick up after themselves. Maybe a reminder sign to smoke 14 feet away.

UNHAPPY

Liked: Location and staff.
Disliked: We always stay here every year we visit Oceanside. This time they put us in a room that smelt like fish. We had complained, open all the windows and turned on the vents. They said it was the A/C. This was unacceptable.

Liked: Large room and great small kitchen. AC worked great. Great parking a easy to locate. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Room smelled like old carpet and I couldn't take a hot shower because the water didn't get hotter than luke warm.
