Clean and nice but unsafe

Liked: Friendly staff overall. Clean and comfortable room and very spacious for us and my service dog. Per friendly! We stayed a week.
Disliked: No cameras at all throughout the hotel except ONE in the lobby! Very disappointed as we were broken into and the man at the counter gave my friend a card to my room without checking ID or asking his name!

Liked: Bed was comfortable and it was minutes from our destination
Disliked: Room needs a complete upgrade on everything, from the bathroom to the kitchen. Old, dirty and smelly appliances, broken counter tops, rusted out hardware in the bathroom, filthy carpet!!

Liked: It was convenient in the location, and the staff was polite, but still had their hands tied, they said.
Disliked: The room was dirty was not cleaned. I found a bug in the bed.I have bites, I took pictures of. The carpet was stained and wet. The bathroom sink was clogged.Could not use. The artwork next to the bed had clunks of white stuff on it.Not sure what it was. The refrigerator was not wiped down that outside, had food stains. The inside had a food crumbs. I asked for a iron Give me one that did not work plus ironing board had a rip in the middle.. Requested another room They said they were completed completely full, which is understanding.Since I knew I was there for a conference. At a different hotel across the street. I did use the restroom to shower and get ready for my conference day of. I slept myself and my companion in the car. Since we had no other hotels near there, that had rooms available. I checked out at 8am.
