Extended Stay America Suites - Los Angeles - Ontario Airport, Ontario

Only had one request at check-in: (3pm) a coffee maker and coffee room. Front desk was very rude when my husband asked again 2 1/2 hrs later. Finally, when we came back from our event at 10:30, we went to the front desk and waited for them to finally give us the coffee maker we had requested 7 hours earlier.

Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: Front desk unfriendliness.

Liked: I needed to find a dog friendly place fast near the airport because we were fleeing the smoke from fires near our home. I had my disabled mother and our three dogs. I felt this location would serve all of my purposes and was near where a friend lives so I was near people I knew.
Disliked: There were small roaches everywhere. The hallways smelled like smoke and weed. It just didn’t feel that clean and didn’t smell clean. There were some sketchy people living there so I was worried every time I had to take the dogs out to use the bathroom. A lot of entrance doors were broken so it didn’t feel secure.

Very dirty

Liked: Access to a kitchen and the proximity of other stores
Disliked: Roaches all over the hotel and in our room, wasn’t clean, animal poop all around the complex.

Disliked: The roaches crawling from under the bed, from out of the tub drain, and out of the ac unit.

Only recommend if you want...

Liked: I liked that it felt like I had my own studio apt for a couple days. I was able to cook and my grand daughter was in her walker running around like crazy, so it felt roomy enough for us.
Disliked: Parking is horrible. Staff are not very helpful if you can find anyone. House keeping only comes when it’s 11 am on the day you leave. My bathroom was never cleaned since I checked in, I asked for cleaning products to do it myself and was told by front desk night girl she can’t do it cuz it’s against there rules and was also told I should talk to the morning manager and would probably get a discount for another night. Next morning I went to ask about the discount and the girl in front who happened to be the team leader told me that she heard about my situation and also had a note and my discount was applied to my stay already. Which made me mad because first of all my room was paid for already, all I had to do was drop my keys off and second who does something like that without talking to the customer first! I needed to start another night due to our power still being off in Riverside, so was planning on using that discount on another night. When I told her that she said “sorry there’s nothing I can do about it cuz I already applied the discount to your stay.” Moving on I asked how much for another night she said she’d be charging me $130 something dollars!! Wtf! Are you kidding me! I didn’t even pay that the first night why would I pay that amount now! She said I don’t know what to tell you. So I ended up looking on booking.com and found it cheaper so she said she could except it but I had to reserve it now! Mind you I don’t have a credit card the first night my mom put it on her credit card and I knew she wouldn’t drive all the way out to Ontario again so we found someone else to do it but still needed his credit card info to book the room on the app. She said if I didn’t book it in the next 10 minutes then she would have to charge me $10 for every ten minutes after check out time unless the room gets reserved again. Lord my person was on his way but dang!
