Needs to be remodeled and need to have more no smoking room. The outside looks good but the rooms need improvement.

Not safe, not clean and...

Liked: Simplicity of the room setup.
Disliked: We felt threatened the first night we were there. Either the room next to us or two doors down was fighting late at night with harmful threats being made along with a screaming woman saying "call 911". After about an hour things quieted down. The next day, Friday, we were at the races in Gainesville and our room was entered by someone who used our bathroom facility and then stole my vial of Trulicity medicine that I take for my diabetes. This medication is very expensive and I need it to keep my blood sugars in check. Since the office wasn't open when we wanted to report this incidence we reported it on Saturday afternoon. We wanted to pursue a police report but the staff said that they would issue us a voucher for our 3 day stay and notify the proper authorities. We have no reports nor documentation. The staff was a girl named BJ and a "manager" named Chris. They were very sympathetic with our situation and ensured us that it would be taken care of, but we received no further follow-up. I left a message to have "Manager" Chris call me and the call was not returned. We want to consult with our attorney to determine if we should file an official complaint. The room had a sticky floor, dirty linen in the bath area when we checked in and a toilet seat that looked like someone deliberately defaced it and stained it. It was thoroughly disgusting! I expect at least cleanliness and safety for $120/night.
