Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: Even though the hotel is "under new management" the room I stayed in showed signs of neglect over a few years. Cables for the TV were out in the open, outlet covers were smashed, lampshades were cracked, and the bed sat on a squeaky metal frame.The overall state of the hotel seemed a bit rundown. Maybe these new owners can make the changes necessary to turn it around.

Disappointing

Liked: The costumer service was great at checkin. Andrew (I think that was his name) was very pleasant. Room was actually spacious.
Disliked: Saw two bugs in the bathroom, bugs you don’t want to take home with you. TV wasn’t working but figured out it was unplugged. if I hadn’t saw the two bugs I probably would have stayed—I checked out in less than an hour. I also had to call to get my $50 deposit back. I was hopeful because of the photos online. Rooms did not look the same as pictured when booking.

Liked: We showed up to the hotel at 2pm and they said we are very sorry but we overbooked our rooms. “We do not have a room for you. If I were you, I would try Moore, OK or Pursell.” This is inexcusable when I have a confirmation number and am at the hotel one hour before my check in time. Then the hotel had the nerve to call me back at 6pm and say someone did not show up and now we have a room for you. Shouldn’t they have given me that room first? Terrible management. Terrible situation.
Disliked: See above. They did not honor my reservation. And they were quite rude about it. Sorry we don’t have a room but here is a bottle of water. WTF

Great location. Great value -...

Liked: The location was great. We were less than 4 miles from where we were going. In fact, the gps routed us through the middle of Oklahoma's campus. It was a home game weekend so we avoided that area going back to the motel. We only had one chair. One of the employees got us a second chair.
Disliked: Breakfast consisted of 2 types of granola bars and coffee. Except the second morning, someone knocked the coffee machine over and broke both pots so there was no coffee. The motel had some remodeling going on. This is the only motel I've stayed in that did not make the beds. There wasn't any place to hang stuff. There wasn't a luggage rack.
