Severly disappointed

Liked: For the price point was severely disappointed. There is no breakfast, it says the whole hotel is non smoking, but walking down the hallway to get to my room, I could smell weed and cigarette smoke permeating from quite a few rooms. Also says pet free, but also walking down the hallway you'd often hear a dog barking. And careful where you walk, coming around a corner stepped in dog crap that was right on the sidewalk. Also the two main hallway entrances outside in the grass is overrun with dog crap.So when it rained the whole area reeked. Maintenance seems to be non existent. Quite a few places that need paint, and every door hinge I saw was overcome with rust. Just basic maintenance that seems to be lacking in general. Housekeeping also seemed to be lacking. I got into my room and there were a few pubes on the toilet seat and in the shower. I asked them if housekeeping could come in and only empty the trash daily. I saw the front desk lady actually write it down in a Lil notebook. But the whole time I was there for 3 nights, not once was the trash emptied. Didn't ask for anything else,literally just empty the trash. And apparently they can't even get that right. The bed was really comfortable, and the three pillows provided were firm yet soft and large. No security, nor staff walking around. Every time I saw the staff they were just sitting down and looking at their phones. I've seen on the hotels website and other travel/booking websites that the hotel is situated near museums and other places to see in fort worth. Not true at all, this hotel is on the outskirts of fort worth. It's in between cherry lane and las vegas trail. Cherry lane is not to bad of a street. But definitely stay away from las vegas trail. And if you can get a room that is facing your automobile and keep a eye on it. Lots of shady foot traffic walking through the parking lot especially the back parking lot.
